My Turning Point

There's a moment when you realise you can't keep living the same way. For me, it was being cut from the football team in secondary school, with the coach making it clear it was about my weight and fitness level. My mates celebrated their spots, and obviously gave me a hard time like all mates do, but this one really did sting for me. Instead of accepting it, I decided to rewrite the narrative. That summer, I embraced the challenge, pushing myself beyond what I thought I was capable of. It wasn't just about making the team; it was about proving that I could redefine myself, that I wasn't limited by others opinions. That experience taught me that change is possible, and now I'm passionate about helping others rewrite their own stories, regardless of where they're starting from.
